At The Green House Project worked with children on an environmental project. We came up with a theme “The enchanting forest” which we think was appropriate and helped the children to express their own creativity. We asked the children to use their imagination, working in teams of two to create a 3D artwork by using only recycled materials. It was a success and we were able to see improvement in the children’s artistic skill and at the same time through education and play a greater understanding of the importance to keep our environment clean, friendly and happy.

Our objectives are to raise awareness of young people and the community of the relationship between Art and Culture and how construction through Art can sublimate the destructive consequence.

We participated at the “G-Litter” festival organised by Liverpool Capital of Culture bid were the children produced costumes with recycled materials and took part in the parade.

The children also worked with clay and recycled materials to create litter creatures that were, with the help of First Take animated through video by the children.
